TRAVERSE CITY, MI – THANK YOU!! Beach Bums fans! For the third year in a row, Beach Bums fans have accepted the invitation to come on out and enjoy their hometown baseball team. A total of 202,923 fans attended 55 games (54 regular season games and the All-Star Game) at Wuerfel Park and cheered the Beach Bums on in 2008. The Beach Bums become the first franchise in the Frontier League to draw over 200,000 fans in back-to-back-to-back seasons with 612,599 fans attending games during their first three years. The Beach Bums have drawn an average of 3,902 fans per game during their three year, 157 game home schedule. See you in 2009!
