College Experience:

2016: Was the only Skyhawk to play and start in all 54 games, ranking sixth in the OVC in assists (134)…Played all but seven innings at shortstop, where he was responsible for the highest fielding percentage (.962) for a Skyhawk shortstop since 2006…Hit. 296 with nine doubles, 30 RBI’s and 29 runs scored while posting a .380 on-base percentage and a .355 slugging percentage…Was responsible for 15 multi-hit performances, including four 3-hit performances…Posted seven multi-RBI games, including a career-high three RBI’s against Jackson State on April 22…Had an 11-game hitting streak from March 26 through April 15…Hit .436 against left-handed pitchers (17-of-39) and led the team in two-out RBI’s (15) and sacrifice hits (six)….Was one of the team’s best clutch hitters, hitting .373 with runners in scoring position (25-of-67), .351 with runners on base (34-of-97), and .343 with two outs (24-of-70).

BEFORE University of Tennessee-Martin: Attended Elgin Community College in Elgin, Ill...Played for head coach Bill Angelo, helping the Spartans post a 41-13 record with a 12-2 conference mark…Played in a team-high 52 games, leading the team with 122 assists…Hit .265 with 32 runs scored, eight doubles, two triples, 23 RBI’s and a .361 on-base percentage…Accounted for 10 multi-hit games, including four straight in the span of four games on April 3-4…Had three hits (including two doubles) with three runs scored and an RBI on April 3 against Sauk Valley…Drove in three runs at Prairie State on April 21…Spent the 2014 season at Judson University in Elgin, Ill., playing for head coach Rich Benjamin…Helped lead the Eagles to a 42-19 record and 22-5 conference mark in 2014…Played in 55 games (starting in 47), scoring 23 runs with 14 RBI’s…Compiled a team-high eight sacrifice hits and was 5-for-6 in stolen base opportunities…Boasted a .972 fielding percentage with just six errors in 218 chances…Prepped at Belvidere High School, where he was a NIC-10 all-conference honoree in 2013…Was selected to the 2012 All-American Game.
