In game one, the Lakers downed the Onekama Portagers 11-1. Deisgnated hitter Geno Peyerk had a pair of hits and rightfielder Andrew Gutzka contributed with a single and triple. Chad Allen had a pair of RBI. Glen Lake jumped out early with four runs in the first and two more in the second to build a 6-0 lead. That was enough for Michael Sawyer who pitched a two-hitter, striking out 11.

Game three saw the Lakers take on the Inland Lakes Bulldogs. A five-run first inning paved the way for GL. Curtis Bunek and Michael Sawyer each single and tripled in the winning effort. Peyerk had his second two-hit game of the day. Thomas Waning, Jordan Hill, Michael Sawyer and Austin Odziana each had 2 RBI. Odziana also did a stellar job on the mound, tossing a three-hitter, striking out six.

The middle game of the day proved to be arguably the most entertaining as Onekama took on Inland Lakes. After the Portagers took a 1-0 lead in the third, the Bulldogs came back to tie the game in the fifth. Knotted at one, heading into extra innings, Onekama was able to plate the winning run on a bases loaded walk to earn a 2-1 victory.
